New public health management lecture series to be offered

The School of Public Health Public Health Training Center (PHTC) will be hosting a series of lectures geared toward graduate students this coming spring. The lecture series will focus on five different public health management topics. Each lecture will be an hour in length and will be led by a professional from the public health field. All lectures will be held at 12 p.m. on Mondays in Room 2157 HSC North. The series is open to all West Virginia University students.

The five topics to be covered over the course of the spring 2016 semester are as follows:

February 1—Public Health Overview

February 15—Local Health Department Budgeting I

February 29—Local Health Department Budgeting II

March 14—Public Health Tools

April 4—Where does Public Health fit into the health system?
