Ryan Wamsley receives ROBERT W. GUNN BOOK SCHOLARSHIP/PUBLIC & COMMUNITY HEALTH

Ryan Wamsley is a graduate student in West Virginia University’s School of Public Health in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Program. He received a bachelor’s degree from WVU in Physical Education and Health Education and spent a year teaching elementary physical education in Braxton County, West Virginia before being accepted to start his graduate education in Morgantown. He is interested in student and family health and hopes to address disparities in the health of children in rural areas of the United States.
