WVU ICRC to host an adventure field trip this fall

Free experience for WVU School of Public Health students

Are you an undergraduate or masters-level public health student with an interest in or curiosity about the field of injury prevention? If so, the inaugural WVU Injury Control Research Center (ICRC) Field Trip is for you!

The WVU ICRC will host the first 25 students who sign up for this free experience at the Adventure WV Outdoor Education Center in Bruceton Mills, WV on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 9a to 4p.

Students will have the opportunity to:  

  • Interact with leading experts in the field
  • Participate in interactive learning experiences
  • Talk with current graduate students about their experiences/research
  • Enjoy outdoor activities such as a zip line tour and a low ropes course

Students participating in this event will have access to a shuttle to and from the venue, lunch, and a commemorative t-shirt.
