Veronte T. Stubbs, MPH Candidate presents her poster “Promoting Health Education to Decrease Risky Behaviors of Adolescents”

May 2012 graduate Veronte T. Stubbs, MPH presented her poster “Promoting Health Education to Decrease Risky Behaviors of Adolescents” to research team members from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh on May 4, 2012. Veronte completed an internship under the guidance of preceptors Pamela Murray, MD, Janie Leary, PhD (December 2011) , MPH and Mousumi Banikya-Leaseburg, MBBS, MPH (2011), CPH in the Department of Pediatrics, West Virginia University; her faculty advisor was Ian Rockett, PhD, MPH. The teen video study is a part of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project, a collaborative 5 year effort involving researchers from WVU, CMU and the University of Pittsburgh. Veronte also served the Department of Community Medicine as an MPH Student Ambassador.
