The West Virginia University Research Corporation (WVURC) invites applications for postdoctoral researcher in the Injury Control Research Center at West Virginia University (WVU). This position will provide statistical and epidemiological support to a team of public health officials and scientists working on evaluation of a series of public health initiatives related to opioid use and overdose prevention.
A PhD in statistics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related science field and experience or applied coursework in collecting, computing, and analyzing statistical data and applied statistical techniques are required. Experience or applied coursework in program assessment and evaluation of surveillance systems, and a background in behavioral science, particularly in the field of addiction, are preferred.
