Mandatory Laptop Program for MPH Students
All MPH students matriculating into the MPH program in fall 2013 will participate in the Health Sciences Center Mandatory Laptop Program. This program provides each student with a brand new Lenovo ThinkPad notebook computer loaded with all software needed to be successful in the MPH program as well as three years of warranty and insurance coverage, and onsite Lenovo certified technical support/maintenance for hardware/software problems through the Classroom Technology unit. For more information, please see the HSC Mandatory Student Laptop Program website. There will be a one-time charge of $1859 for this computer, which will be billed with your first semester tuition and fees. Students will receive their laptop computers at the new MPH student orientation (see below for more information), so we are asking that all students register (more on that coming soon) and pay their WVU MPH bills prior to the orientation. Students who have not paid their WVU bill prior to the close of business on Tuesday, August 13 will not be given their computer until we can verify that they have paid their bill.
