Blue Zones project presentation + Public Health student focus group -- Nov. 9

Weigh in on how WVU might inspire greater well-being and a healthier West Virginia by becoming the world’s first Certified Blue Zones University

West Virginia University has a history of collaborating with our community to support well-being. Now, we’re inviting School of Public Health students to weigh in on a whole new level of collaboration and impact.

Blue Zones Project – a well-being improvement initiative that’s built on National Geographic research into places where people live longer, healthier, happier lives – works to create cultures and environments where healthy choices are easier to make. Forty-seven communities across the U.S. have already embraced this journey, with benefits that include happier and healthier communities with measurably higher well-being.

Share your ideas and perspectives at a special meeting with the Blue Zones team on Friday, November 9, 1-2 PM, Erma Byrd 201.
