WVU students invited to participate in interdisciplinary case competition focusing on addressing food insecurity

WVU students are invited to participate in Innovate for Good: Co-Creating Solutions for Community Problems, an interdisciplinary case competition focused on creating real-world solutions for West Virginia nonprofits addressing food insecurity.

Working in teams of three to four, students will develop capacity-building solutions for West Virginia nonprofits focused on food insecurity. Participants will attend a brief workshop, receive guidance from a nonprofit or campus coach, and pitch their solutions for a chance to win prize money. Top teams will advance to a final round judged by professionals, with prizes awarded to first, second and third-place winners.

The competition provides hands-on, real-world problem-solving experience while encouraging collaboration across disciplines and supporting rural West Virginia communities and nonprofits.
