Membership is required to participate in most OLLI activities.

Members enjoy the following benefits:

  • The right to be added to a course waitlist
  • A voice in OLLI governance

Membership Year

OLLI's membership year is July 1 to June 30. It is divided into four terms: summer, fall, winter, and spring.

  • Summer 2025 term: Mid-July through late August 2025
  • Fall term: Monday, September 16 to November 23, 2024
  • Winter term: Tuesday, January 21 to March 15, 2025  (Winter registration begins January 6, 2025)
  • Spring term: Monday, April 7 to May 30, 2025  (Spring registration begins March 17, 2025)

Cost to Join

OLLI at WVU offers two flexible membership options designed to fit your learning goals:

  1. Standard Annual Membership – $30

    • Pay an additional $40 per term for unlimited classes during any term you wish to participate.
    • Enjoy membership benefits year-round, even during terms you’re not enrolled in classes.

  2. Annual Plus Membership – $175 (available through mid-August)

    • Includes the standard membership and unlimited class enrollment for the entire membership year!

Some classes and activities may require additional fees, which will be clearly noted in the course descriptions.

Financial Assistance Available

OLLI at WVU offers membership and registration scholarships to individuals for whom fees are out of reach. To apply, ask for a confidential application at the OLLI office or fill out the scholarship request form at olliatwvu.org/learn-more/scholarships/. We want to make lifelong learning available to everyone.
