Biostatistics Faculty member wins Young Investigator Award

Assistant Professor Leann Long, was awarded a Young Investigator Award at the 2013 Joint Statistical Meetings in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Long was recognized by the American Statistical Association Section on Statistics in Epidemiology for her research manuscript “A Marginalized Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression Model with Overall Exposure Effects”.
Dr. Long is pictured with her advisor, and one of the coauthors on her award-winning paper, Dr. John Preisser.
