Graduate Assistantships Available

 
Dr. Michael Beets in the Division of Health Aspects of Physical Activity in the Department of Exercise Science in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina is recruiting up to 5 Ph.D. students beginning Fall 2012.
 
Students will receive a graduate research assistantship and be actively involved in a multi-year large-scale community-based intervention.
 
Preference will be given to individuals with the following qualifications.
 
·         Background/Interest in promoting physical activity and nutrition in children
·         Experience/Interest working with community-based programs
·         Experience collecting accelerometer and direct observation data
·         Basic analytical skills
·         Ability to write manuscripts and abstracts
·         Strong work ethic
·         Enthusiastic
