New course available: GIS Applications in Public Health
The Department of Epidemiology announces a a new course titled "GIS Applications in Public Health" for Fall 2018. It was just recently made available for registration.
The course provides students with foundational GIS skills to access, store, manipulate, and descriptively analyze spatially referenced health data. Students will gain intermediate proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS software, and gain exposure to GIS capabilities within R.
The course is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-10:30 am.
