Leadership Council Duties
The Rural Health Interest Group is a student-organized interdisciplinary group that meets monthly during the academic year to discuss and learn about rural health issues, rural practice and recruitment.
2023-24 Leadership Elections
Structure: Leadership Board/Council of four students. All four positions are to be re-elected each year. Positions are open to all health professional students of all years.
Commitment: Leadership meetings once per month. Reach out to and communicate with speakers. Plan and organize monthly RHIG meetings and events. Plan and organize one service event per semester.
Nominations close on March 23, 2023. The ballot will be sent out and voting will begin March 27 and close April 10. The new leadership council will be announced at the April 15 Rural Health Interest Group meeting.
