SPH announces Outstanding Staff Award nomination process
The WVU School of Public Health announces the launch of its Outstanding Staff Award. Nominations are being accepted now through May 30.
Award recipients are WVU School of Public Health staff who embody the mission and values of the University and the School of Public Health. Each nominee should continually point the School in the direction of its goals and objectives.
To be considered, the nominee should consistently exhibit exemplary performance that fulfills the following criteria:
- Builds Community: The nominee promotes a sense of positivity and community (within work group, department/unit, or across campus) by bringing groups/individuals together for a common purpose.
- Promotes Inclusivity: The nominee welcomes and values diversity of opinions in discussions, demonstrates tolerance of others, enhances the School or campus climate, and adheres to respectful workplace expectations.
- Demonstrates Leadership Qualities: The nominee provides continuous high-quality performance, directs people to resources, sees work assignments from a “big picture” point-of-view, handles difficult situations and assignments well, and personifies dependability.
Any SPH employee can nominate a staff member for the Outstanding Staff Award. Complete information about the award and nomination and selection processes can be found in this PDF. A complete Nomination Form is required for each nominee by May 30.
