Introduction to Public and Community Health (PUBH 101)

What is public health and why does it matter? PUBH 101: Introduction to Public and Community Health is a 3-credit course available to undergraduate students in any major interested in learning more about public and community health.

During the course, students will learn about the history, core functions, disciplines, and essential services of public health as well as engage in discussions about current public health events and issues. Course assignments will include reflection writing exercises, a public health photo journal, engagement activities, and a current public health issue campaign.
