WVU School of Public Health to host virtual ‘ask us anything’ March 15

The West Virginia University School of Public Health is hosting a virtual Q&A session Tuesday, March 15 from 6-8 p.m., during which students who have been admitted to the B.S. in Public Health and B.S. in Health Services Management and Leadership programs will have the chance to ask anything to a panel of experts.

The live, online event will give admitted students the opportunity to hear from current School of Public Health students, as well as members of the recruitment and admissions team. Attendees will:

  • Gain insight into what it is like being a student in the WVU School of Public Health;
  • Learn about potential career paths; and
  • Hear first-hand stories and advice from students, as they share “What I wish I’d known then...”

“This opportunity will give our admitted students the chance to get all their questions answered as our current students cover things like career aspirations, housing and life on campus, and their experiences during their first semester, including lessons learned,” said Hannah Meeks, recruitment specialist for the School of Public Health.

“While this event is geared toward students who have been admitted for the fall 2022 semester, anyone is welcome to attend, and we hope the virtual platform will open the door to prospective students at any level who are interested in public health,” she added.

To register for the event, visit go.wvu/askPublicHealthRSVP and sign up by Monday, March 14.
