Engage With Us
Message from Scot McIntosh, Assistant Dean for Student Success and Alumni Engagement (February 19, 2026):
School of Public Health seeking alumni volunteers
One of the greatest strengths of our school is you. Your careers, your leadership, and your lived experience show our students what is possible.
Each year, I work closely with undergraduate and graduate students as they explore career paths, prepare for applied experiences, and plan for life after graduation. The most powerful moments often happen when alumni step into the conversation.
We are launching a Public Health Alumni Directory to make it easier for students and faculty to connect with you in meaningful ways. Through a brief Qualtrics form, you can indicate how you would like to engage. Options include:
- Serving on in class panels
- Participating in virtual or in person guest lectures
- Offering informational interviews
- Supporting networking events
- Assisting with student recruitment
- Sharing job or internship opportunities
You choose the level of involvement that fits your schedule. Even one conversation can shape a student's confidence and direction. Our students benefit when they see real examples of purpose driven careers.
If you're interested, please complete this form. I’ll follow up via email with next steps. If you would prefer to connect directly, you are also welcome to schedule time with me using this link. I would love the chance to learn more about your journey and explore how you might want to stay involved.
Thank you for considering how you can continue investing in the next generation of public health leaders.
