Message from Scot McIntosh, director, Career Development and Student Success (April 1, 2020):
School of Public Health seeking alumni volunteers for virtual speaker series
For the last four semesters, I have taught an undergraduate course centered on public health careers. The primary intent is to illustrate to our students the many pathways that exist in the public health realm. I love utilizing our alumni as guest speakers for this course.
During this time of uncertainty, when I can't be in the classroom with our students and when we're utilizing digital platforms for connecting, I'm seeking out alumni (individually or in small groups) to record 10-15 minute videos that are focused on public health careers and pathways. I'll provide a list of questions to those who are interested in participating, and together we can find a time that works best to record the chats. With your permission, I will share those videos with my students and with other SPH students who are interested in your profession(s).
If you're interested, please complete this form. I’ll follow up via email with next steps.
I hope to hear from you and sincerely appreciate your time and consideration. Thank you!
